As we were leaving one of the farmers invited us back to his house. It seemed like too good an opportunity to pass up. Of course that meant drinking more Chai.
The farmers would have like to have progressed to alcohol. Anton was keen but the rest of us felt it was time to go, so it was back to the car.
The trip out was along a major road with lots of trucks, motor bikes, cows and other assorted obstacles. It'd been raining, so most of the time the windscreen was difficult to see through. To avoid the larger potholes the driver favored driving on the wrong side of the road, leaving it to the very last moment to get back to the correct side when traffic came the other way.
The trip home was exactly the same, but in the dark. I doubt you can appreciate how hard it is to spot a herd of cows in the middle of the road in the dark.
